From Palm Sunday to easter

Holy week played out in many ways in the diocese as churches were no longer held to ransom by the strains of covid viruses.
Palm sunday had many parishioners processing through the streets around their churches. Mid-week services were held and Maundy Thursday services with the washing of the feet and the stripping of the hold book took place in many parishes.

Bible society visits HTC and sell fruit for funds

The three day annual fruit and vegetable market brings in very welcome funds towards the translating of the bible into other languages and distributing copies to those who cannot afford to buy a copy.
All the fruit and vegetables are donated by farmers from the Addo and the wider area around Gqeberha.

ST PAULS CHURCH

Saint Paul is the oldest daughter church of Saint Mary's Collegiate church in Port Elizabeth. On the 18th of October 1954. The foundation stone for the Old Saint Paul's in North End was laid by Bishop John Armstrong, bishop of Grahamstown at that time.
