A ‘thank you’ breakfast
On the 11th of December 1960 the final service was held in the Old Church at 9:15 am and Fr Pillans preached on the text; “Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God” from the first letter to the Corinthians 3:16 and doubtless stressed that the church is people not a building. Afterwards the congregation assembled at the Crispin hall and processed up Diaz Road to the new church.Download
